Craft Brews

Over the past few years Craft Brews have been experiencing a dramatic increase in popularity. All summer long we've been building up our selection of craft beers, and we do our best to stay ahead of the curve on new brews while keeping all your favorites in stock. From Belgium to Japan, Germany to Canada and of course from our own backyard here in the states we've got something for even the most discerning of beer drinkers.

Who needs a fire when you can have a beer...

As we bid farewell to fall, our eyes and taste buds turn towards darker horizons. Winter beers are known for their rich warm flavor with hints of nutmeg, cinnamon and spices; leaving your palate tingling and protecting your senses from the harshness of the season. How about grabbing yourself a porter or a stout? Porters are made with mostly pale malts; brewers will also utilize black, chocolate, crystal or smoked brown malts to add complexity and balance. A stout uses roasted, unmalted barley which gives the beer a drier feel overall. Both porters and stouts range in color from brown to black and are known to have hints of chocolate, coffee, and oats. Porters and Stouts were commonly known for their low alcohol percentage, but recently many breweries have been experimenting with stronger beers typically know as an Imperial series. No matter which you choose, you will be sure to be warmed from the inside out.
